When you’re struggling with the tough stuff that life throws at you, it’s understandable to feel overwhelmed and alone. Maybe you’re burdened by sadness, stress, anxiety, loneliness, confusion, or grief. You might be reeling from conflict in an important relationship. Or, you  might feel generally unfulfilled, or stuck. Through connecting with a counsellor, you can not only get through these times, but can also come out the other end stronger, more insightful, and more authentically yourself. Your counsellor at Here With You would be honoured to support you along the way.

Our Story

Here With You is a Toronto-based counselling organisation providing therapy for people living in Ontario. It was founded by Arielle Furneaux (MSW, RSW) in 2022 after spending 9 years as a primarily-remote counsellor and seeing the positive impact that remote therapy provides to socially, economically and geographically remote clients.

Arielle has worked professionally in Australia and Ontario with a variety of populations, including children, teenagers, young adults, members of the armed forces, war veterans, and people struggling with complex mental health diagnoses. Her broad experience has informed her counselling style which is individually-tailored and strengths-based. She wants every client of Here With You to feel truly heard and valued.

Arielle will honour where you are coming from: your culture, identity, and place in the world. She will honour your dreams of what you want for yourself, your relationship, and your community. She recognises that different forms of discrimination, including homophobia, transphobia, sexism, ableism, and racism, may be impacting you in complex ways. She is dedicated to combatting discrimination on a micro and macro level, by continually learning, examining her biases, engaging with social justice issues and striving for equity.
